Hello everyone! Today my mommy is going to post because she needs to rant about the changes implemented to Pet Society today.
Today, Pet Society players happened to discover an error code that states "Saved failed:1911." The reason this happens is because there is a new limit on how many coins you can earn per day. The limit has been guestimated at 25,000 coins. While there is a earning limit, there is still no spending limit. Let's hope one does not follow. UPDATE: As of April 16th, the earning limit is said to be around 65,000 coins!
Players had to figure out this information on their own. Moderators are also confused and have given little comment to the situation. Playfish has also not issued an official statement regarding this change. I hope that this is a temporary change and will be lifted quite soon but I have my doubts.
I am quite disappointed with Playfish. I understand that they feared telling us would just make hackers sell back an insanely large amount of items before the update but it was just not a good move on their part not to tell us. This change affects more honest players than it does hackers. For those who simply play for themselves, they may be able to get by on 25,000 a day. For those who gift and trade, this is a horrible change.
I personally am affected because I now see no reason for me to buy CC. I mainly bought CC to sell it for 999s,3333s, or 4999s. While I still can do this, I cannot cash in more than 25x999s,7x3333s, or 5x4999s a day. On Sunday, this would be quite annoying and would make updates less exciting as I spend a ton then. I buy at least two of everything, sometimes more because I like my house to by symmetrical. The point is, that the makers of the game are making it hard for any honest player to play and do all of the fun things that go with it.
Prices on the forum may sky rocket if the gifting rumor is true. [See below.] They also may skyrocket because it is hard for anyone to make money. People will have to trade for money more now because it's harder to earn. G
The forum is in chaos at the moment. Many people, myself included, have been rating Pet Society on Facebook with one star ["★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆"] out of five along with posting their complaints. Some of those complaints regard trading, gifting, the buying and selling of CC, and so many more!
Players have put up with the item limit, which is also rumored to have been reduced from 20,000 to a number which is not know. Though this is just a rumor, I fear this may be true also. This bothers me as most players have close to hundred pages in their inventory, not to mention the amount of each item they may have. You also have to include the twenty or more pages of clothing. With the limit placed and no counter to know how many items you have, what is an honest player to do?
There is another rumor running around the PS forums that there may be a limit on how many gifts you can send. The rumored limit is said to be somewhere in the hundreds. No one really knows anything for sure yet.
If either of these two rumors are confirmed, I will update this post.
